DeviceDoctor for PC and laptop

Device Doctor for PC and laptop - DeviceDoctor driver update utility found the outdated drivers on your PC, and help Andamen download the latest version-without charging you a dime.

Using the utility, which can be installed or used as a portable application, is as easy as it gets-just click the Start Scan button, wait a few seconds, and you'll be shown a list of drivers that can be updated. Download button for each driver will take you to their website, where you can download drivers for free, without signing up for anything. Most of the drivers come with a setup program, but some of them are nothing more than a zip file, and will need to be installed manually-hopefully something that they could improve in the future.

During our testing, we used half a dozen applications on your PC, and have varying results on our test system, XP, Device Doctor worked well and accurately locate new drivers, but for Windows 7 we do not have as much luck, with some drivers are not properly hurled at us. That said, Windows 7 was released only recently, so expect that to increase support in the future.

Device Doctor is not perfect, but as an application, is completely free portable that you can throw on your thumb drive, it is also interesting to see. It might even save time searching for new drivers when you fix the PC's mother.

Device Doctor is a free download for Windows only. Be sure to check out the full How-To Geek review for more in-depth look, as well as instructions on how to install the drivers manually.
